I have never been loyal to one brand of mascara because I felt there was always something better out there and I have tried many. This mascara goes on smooth and never clumps even after several coats. Only two coats are really needed but I was testing it's performance after several coats and it certainly exceeded my expectations. I don't have really long or full lashes and this mascara made them look full and longer. Just love it!!! I have really light skin, green eyes, light blonde brows/lashes and light blonde hair. The usual black and brown mascaras are too dark for my skin, so I thought the grey color would be perfect. I actually thought it was a very dark grey. I was looking for something lighter, however that's no reason for a bad review of the product, that's just me being picky. The reason the product gets a one star is because the product is terrible. I hate the brush. I prefer a hard plastic more of a comb brush for my thin lashes, this was more of a soft plushy brush. I hate mascaras that crimp your lashes, this does just that. It does not lengthen, volumize or define. This to me is just like the "Loreal Voluminous"- which I also hate. The same brush, only smaller, and the same disgusting formula. Some brands are too dark it's almost a black & some are too pink--this one is perfect & doesn't look burgundy on the lashes but definitely brings out the green in your eyes.
