I loved these boots but I had to return them as the shaft width was too narrow for me. I have 15 inch calves, which is the measurement of the shaft, but because of the fleece lining the width really was, in effect, about 14 inches. Also, the shaft does not stretch much as the leather is stiff and the lining is thick. Keep this in mind as you order. Otherwise, they really are gorgeous boots.

Love these boots! So comfy! So stylish and cool! Love the "riding boot" look. The only minor drawback is that the lower part is not fully fleece lined, but I ordered a half size larger than my regular shoe size and there is room for medium-thick socks, even with the fleece insoles. Really not sure what folks are talking about on other website with sizing; these actually are at least true to size, if not a little on the big side. And, the calf is a little snug, but not uncomfortable, with jeans. The shafts were snug, but not uncomfortable at first, but have stretched just enough to wear with jeans tucked in. Also, the lacing adjusts slightly to customize the fit a bit. I am not a large person, but have had "athletic" calves my whole life and have struggled with boots. I can actually wear these. These are nice fashionable casual boots for those chilly, but not arctic, days.
