I'm a size 6 shoe with slim calves. I usually have problems with boots fitting well around my calves near my knees and these boots are perfect. Toes fit comfortably with lots of wiggle room. The heel is about 1 inch but hidden in the design so it looks like a flat boot. The leather quality seems ok.
