The dual straps are a nice touch; especially as they are removable. The quality of the leather is wonderful, very sleek and soft. I bought this for travel; it will hold all the things too valuable for regular luggage, i.e. medications, jewelry, etc. The size of the bag is perfect - not too small for necessities or so large it seems like a briefcase. Finally, when empty, it lies very flat, easy to pack in a regular suitcase.
