I bought them in brown, pewter, and chianti! I've worn the chianti and pewter but intend to return the brown. The brown leather is lackluster compared to the patent colors of the other two. I've received many compliments on them and I think it has lots to do with the sharp-looking shine. They are comfortable but I have bad feet so have experienced pain in them after wearing them all day. Still they are comfortable as far as shoes go. Only problem I've had (and it's happened twice!) is the button breaking off the elastic band attaching it to the shoe. For some reason, it's only happened with the pewter ones and only on the right. Maybe it's me? Fortunately, I was able to return and replace at Nordstrom the first time. I'll see again this time to exchange and/or get it fixed.
