I recently purchased this bag in Ivy and I am extremely pleased. It is my first Dooney and I could not be happier. I have 4 children and typically need a large bag for all the stuff I carry. This bag holds everything, is very stylish but is not heavy or bulky.

If you are looking for an all purpose bag you can carry everyday, this is it.

This bag was very nice, good size and soft leather, BUT the color was fire engine red, online it looked like a softer red. I returned it because it was way too bright for my taste.

I seriously love D&B bags over all designer bags. Why, you might ask? The quality is exceptional, the bag, which is an oversized tote, is surprisingly not very heavy which is a plus for me since I commute everyday by train so the less I have to deal with, the better! I bought the bag in plum, which is so pretty and goes so well with my black and gray outfits. If you are looking for a tote, this is the way to go. It is large, so it really doesn't double as a pocketbook to use over the weekend. It is strictly a tote. It fits my lunch and shoes comfortably so I don't have to carry a separate bag for those items. The handle can be used over the shoulder or not, which I really like that feature, too. The handle is stiff so it is easy to grab onto when I get off of the train. Another plus. It is so worth the price, you will not be unhappy with this purchase! Go ahead and treat yourself as an early Christmas gift!!!

Per the description, this bag is huge. I would recommend it for a work or weekend/travel bag. I like the larger handbags, but this one was too big and unfortunately I returned it as I wanted something for everyday.
