ABOUT THE DESIGNER
At 18, Rebecca Minkoff packed her bags and moved to New York to become a fashion designer. She launched her eponymous company in 2005 with the creation of her own handbag line, after which she expanded the brand to include ready-to-wear apparel, shoes, jewelry and accessories. Today, Minkoff is one of the leading contemporary designers in the U.S., a member of the CFDA, and the 2011 winner of the Breakthrough Award by the Accessories Council.
