Fueled by his passion for Art Deco Bakelite and turn-of-the-century Lalique glass, Alexis Bittar's Lucite and semi-precious jewelry was first recognized by New York's Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. Selected retailers followed suit and the rest, as they say, is history.
