Purchasing & Sending
Are there any fees associated with the purchase of a Gift Card?
No. You will only be charged the face value of the Gift Card or eGift Card. For traditional Gift Cards, there are no fees for standard shipping; expedited shipping is $10.
How do I cancel the purchase of a Gift Card?
Gift Card purchases cannot be canceled or returned.
When is my credit card or PayPal account charged for my purchase?
Your account is charged at the time of purchase.
Is there a benefit for Nordstrom card holders?
Nordstrom card holders earn Nordstrom Rewards points on all Gift Card purchases.
Is the Nordstrom retail or debit card accepted for eGift Card purchases?
At this time, Nordstrom retail and debit cards are not accepted for purchases of eGift Cards. Please use a different form of payment. To receive Nordstrom Rewards points for your purchase, call customer service at 1.844.639.8924.

When does the Gift Card expire?
Our Gift Cards and eGift Cards never expire.
How are Gift Cards delivered and what exactly does the recipient receive?
Traditional Gift Cards are secured inside a greeting card with the recipient's name, sender's name, message and the Gift Card amount printed inside. The greeting card is mailed in a silver Nordstrom gift box. Gift Cards shipped via standard delivery usually arrive in 4-7 business days.
Our eGift Cards can be emailed to the recipient within minutes or on your chosen delivery date. The email informs the recipient of your gift and includes a link to retrieve the eGift Card online. The link opens a page showing the eGift Card design you selected, the recipient's name, your personalized message, the eGift Card value and code number. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift Card.
Where can Gift Cards be redeemed?
All Gift Cards are redeemable online and in our stores at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook.
Where can I check my Gift Card balance?
Verify your remaining balance online, by phone at 1.877.283.4045 or by inquiring at any store register.
Where can corporate customers place bulk orders?
Corporate customers can place bulk orders by calling 1.877.771.4438.

Is my eGift Card order secure?
All personal and financial information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing state of the art technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all personal and financial information over SSL. The eGift Card purchase process is fully PCI compliant. If you have any questions or concerns, please call customer service at 1.844.639.8924.
How do I know the recipient actually received the eGift Card I sent them?
You will receive an email message confirming delivery and a message notifying you that the eGift Card has been viewed. If the eGift Card is not viewed, you will receive a message with options for resolving the issue. You may also contact customer service with the order number from the email you received confirming your purchase, and we can tell you if the recipient has viewed their eGift Card.
What if an eGift Card is lost?
Your eGift Card has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your printed eGift Card, contact customer service (1.844.639.8924) immediately.
