Founded in Milan in 1994, Marni has quickly become renowned for its bold prints and unexpected silhouettes. Founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni balances an avant-garde spirit with exceptional craftsmanship and an artisanal touch, resulting in eclectic yet chic women's wear.
Castiglioni added handbags to Marni's offerings in 1998, enhancing the brand's reputation for boundary-pushing, versatile pieces. Styles range from classic shapes in rich, luxurious leather to statement-making bags reinvented in splashy colors and lush textures.
Launched alongside the handbag collection, Marni's wedges, sandals, heels and flats are loaded with retro appeal without harking back to a specific era—think two-tone mary janes, color-block wedges and menswear-inspired oxfords.
Castiglioni drew from decades past for her sharp menswear collection, which made its runway debut in 2010. Updated for the modern man, Marni Men spices up traditional tailoring and wardrobe essentials with daring details and easily layered separates, all the while maintaining the utmost practicality.
