Good Idea, Needs Improvements Pros: -Cute & soft (we have the blue) -Cool features: connects to an ipod, has multiple movements/built in sounds available Cons: -VERY loud. You really have to turn up the volume for the built in sounds to drown out the base noise the unit makes. -The plush toys should be brighter colors, more appropriate for babies' interests. -The harness could be improved to provide better support and positioning. It rides high and the leg openings are excessively wide. 11/15/12

Loving our Mamaroo! When we brought our 2nd baby home, we really hadn't picked out a swing, so my husband went out and found this one. He was sold the minute he saw it in action. Once we put our newborn in it... It was like heaven for her! She had to be held constantly, and once we laid her down she would wake up. But not in this swing!!! She absolutely loves it and it has been a lifesaver! She likes all the different modes and also loves the ocean sounds it plays. Everyone that sees it wants one, and adults always say they would love one in their size! It is an awesome product I would recommend to all new parents. I just wish it would have been around for my first baby. It's definitely worth every penny. 9/29/12

We Love the Mamaroo! We bought the mamaroo for our newborn son as he prefers to always be moving and he loves it! The car ride setting is a great feature as we were taking him for car rides to calm him before getting this so this is great. It is so futuristic looking. Everyone who comes over loves it and want one too! 9/26/12

Our baby LOVES her mamaRoo After trying out the older version of the mamaRoo, we opted for the 2012 version which has a faster motor. Our daughter LOVES the faster model and it calmed her within minutes. I'll also say that the sound machine on the mamaRoo is really loud (volume is adjustable) but we preferred it over the sound machine we purchased for her room. The 4Moms customer service is also top notch. We had an issue with the base on our mamaRoo and they sent a new one out to us immediately. Of course, you'd get the same customer service from Nordstrom as well. The last thing I'll add is that this machine actually looks nice and is compact, unlike the over sized swings and bouncers on the market. 9/10/12
