The Basic Five is the recommended foundation program of all the Arcona products. Designed specifically for oily skin, it restores skin to its natural balance.

How to use: The products in the Basic Five work synergistically and are scientifically designed to fulfill a distinct transformational function. For this reason, Arcona recommends that you follow the program as suggested and do not incorporate other skincare products into your regimen for the first 2 - 6 weeks prior to consulting with an Arcona specialist. After the initial period, continuing to use the Basic Five as part of an advanced daily Arcona skincare program promises even fresher, more glowing skin and a more contoured, youthful appearance.

Kit includes Toner Tea Bar (2 oz.), The Solution (0.5 oz.), Cranberry Grommage (2 oz.), Magic White Ice (0.5 oz.) and Desert Mist (0.5 oz.), all in a travel bag.

Dermatologist in a bag From high end "celeb" dermatologists to probably trying over 20 brands, I could not get rid of my cystic acne that repeatedly attacked my chin/jawline. I bought an eye cream from this brand and eventually they called me to come in for a facial. The facial was amazing! Not what I was expecting at all and I could already feel the products at work. I told them my concern of my aging/sensitive/problem skin and they sent me home with the Oily skin basic five along with Tabula Rasa, Night Breeze, and tinted sunscreen. Within a week, poof! my cystic acne was gone. I was just left with the scarring. Still, my skin is not what it used to be 3 years ago *sigh*, but I was amazed with the results and continue to be. I was a little iffy purchasing the travel kit since I didn't want to have to go in and repurchase all the products at once, but the saleswoman was right. They run out in-consecutively which makes it a little more wallet friendly. I now use only Arcona products and just so you know, I religiously follow the instructions it comes with. There was not a product I disliked that came in the kit. I was unsure with the Desert Mist, but it never broke me out and smells like licorice (I like licorice). Everything compliments each other perfectly. I love the ingredients and how moderately priced everything is. If you are like me and have been continuously searching for that perfect brand, try Arcona! You won't be disappointed. I also enjoy that fact that they let the products speak for themselves instead of trying to sell based on charisma. That to me says a lot about their products. 12/17/12

effective & lasting I began to see results within the first 2 days of use. The toner tea bar foams to a thick lather which works well with my clarisonic, the cranberry grommage is THE BEST exfoliator I've used (and I've used many brands), and the white ice moisturizer absorbs quickly but still moisturizes my skin. Each product has a distinct scent (for those people who are scent sensitive), the toner tea bar fills my entire master bathroom. I have used ALOT of other brands and I think I've finally found a skincare line that works for me. Don't get me wrong.. I have seen results with other brands/products, but the results are short-lived; I can't go a day without my skin reverting back to it's oil-producing factory. It's been a week since I started using Arcona, I can visibly see that my pores are less congested... my skin looks and feels clean, even after a long day in make-up. I also don't appear as oily throughout the day. And just for kicks, I went a day without any products and my skin did not revert back to it's oily, congested ways. Although I hope to see more results with continued use, I'm more than satisfied with what I've seen so far. 8/2/12

This has done wonders for my skin. Since I began using Arcona (Mar. 2011), I have been receiving compliments on my skin! I feel like my skin is literally glowing. Love it! The only downfall to these products, is that there are several steps, and can be very time consuming. It takes me much longer to do my face routine every morning. To me, it is worth it because my face feels awesome. Also, I don't know what makes this different than the other kits. My face feels just as oily :( 6/3/11
