Burma Bibas Polynosic Knit T-Shirt
Have worn this brand for several years. Runs a size big. If you wear a large normally you would get this in a medium. This T-shirt use to unravel around the neck area. Now they have re-engineered that area. Has a great feel and comfort that no other T-shirt has.
A T-Shirt for Global Travel
I began buying these T-Shirts about 7 years ago..and I now have 32! I often travel overseas for business / pleasure. At my foreign business locations, I wear a Black Suit / Dress Shirt / Tie for corporate image. At night, I wear the same Suit or Jacket with a Burma Bibas T-Shirt that dresses up or down depending on what I wear. Not only is the T-Shirt comfortable, it DOES NOT WRINKLE after being packed for ten-hours on a flight! The colors are so varied, it works in the Spring, Summer or Fall! Some other department stores carry a " waffle weave " of the shirt which is not dressy enough; the " flat weave " at Nordstroms does double duty. Now, I have to buy four more for the spring / summer!
Well, it's no longer ribbed thank God. And the cut is still the same as the ones from back in the 2005-2006 timeframe which were the best t-shirt ever in my opinion. Some people on here take issue with the change in fabric, but I find it still offers the nice drape and is actually more durable and stain-resistant. I also like the printed tag instead of the stitched-on tag which was the first place that showed wear on the old ones. I do NOT like the change to the neck though. It is a larger neck hole and it's a single layer of the same fabric as the shirt which appears flimsy. And of course $55 is ludicrous for a t-shirt.
no longer a great tee
I have been buying this brand of tee for years, but they changed it this year. The old fabric had a great though slight drape. The colors are more varied now, but the shirt is no longer special. I bought 2 when the first came out and now, I only wear them for exercise.
