Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Non-Streak Bronzer
Time-Tested Classic - The Best
This gorgeous bronze-color gel (not a self-tanner) is simply the best there is. I've used it for many years, beginning with it when Clinique offered it in their soft-green tube for women. Why they discontinued it in that package I've no idea, it was a bizarre move; but ever since I learned from a sales rep that the very same product now comes in a charcoal tube for Men, I've bought that, instead, happily. Nothing can beat it's most realistic color: no sparkles, shimmer or fakey-gold highlights, and no orange, yellow, red or anything else odd in the color. And because it's a sheer gel, your own skin tones and texture show through as with a true tan. Never found any powder that compares to it's natural color and adaptability. I often use it for my legs and everywhere else, too.
I use it in several ways: my favorite - and I think the most realistic and easy application is to combine a bit of it in my hand with an equal am't of light moisturizer and quickly spread the mix onto facial sun-areas (or anywhere else): the bit of moisturizer allows a bit more time to perfect the application and allows a broader range of color-adjustment - more bronzer = deeper, more moisturizer = a iighter shade.
Great Product for Women, Too
I was looking for a bronzing gel for women and couldn't find anything like this, although Clinique made one for years, so I bought this on the recommendation of a Clinique consultant. It does a great job; no streaks, gives a healthy realistic glow, and washes off with soap and water. And, the price is reasonable.
Tan? No problem!
I've been using this for a week now and I tell yah this product is wonderful! I apply this on my face sparingly to have that little tan look and I'm lovin' it! I use this in combination with a moisturizer/sun block and it works well. Everything they say about this product is true and I'm very satisfied of my order. As the matter of fact, I will buy 4 more just to stock up! :)
Works Fine, But...
Unfortunately it didn't work for me as it contained ingredients to which I am allergic, apparently. It turned my face very red and that lasted for about 24 hours. I gave it to a friend, however, and it was great. His tan looks natural and didn't streak at all. Note that it is best to apply this product with a cosmetic sponge, but using your fingers would work too. The sponges keep your hands clean and they apply the stuff more evenly. I would recommend this product. Be sure not to get it from an overpriced dealer, though. There are a lot of online stores selling this for much more than Nordstrom does.
