my new daily moisturizer I had been using oil of olay moisturizer as my daily moisturizer for years. Please don't read "low maintenance" in this. The simple fact is that I started there and it had been working for years so why change? Until, I began to notice that my skin was sometimes too dry for my make-up to apply evenly and sometimes even when it did, I would see evidence of dry skin under it later in the day. I needed more moisture in my daily moisturizer but not so much that my make-up would slide off my face and not so much that my skin would break out. Age defying benefits were a bonus because I get those in my night time routine with Retin-a and serums. I tried many new daily moisturizers before deciding this one was the winner. It provides just the right amount of moisture without being overpowering and it absorbs quickly. Sometimes if the weather is very dry, I pair this with clinique moisture surge gel (pink stuff) which is perfect to dab on over top in spots or even to dab on over top of make-up if needed once you are finished for just a few touches of extra moisture (again the 2nd step is only when either the weather or my skin is EXTRA dry.) 1/25/13

Finally! After using another more expensive high end cream from another brand, which broke me out, not to mention the scent drove me crazy, I dropped by Clinique to see what they had for daytime. I'm in the office most of the day, so I just need a low spf, but I have combo/oily skin which is sensitive. I did the skin analysis and it steered me towards the Youth Surge Spf 15. After using it for a week, no breakouts, and finally a SPF lotion that doesn't make me greasy or have that shine to it. No fragrance either which is great. I use this under make-up and have no issues. Highly recommend the combo/oily skin version for those that battle oily skin but need SPF protection. This product has won me over and I have now purchased a nightcreme from Clinique...I think they won me over! Good quality products at affordable prices, which is hard to say for some other dept store brands. 1/11/13

clinique youth surge spf 15 Since the Repairwear Day Cream SPF 15 is discontinued, I tried this product. It has a strong sunscreen smell, so I could not use it. Why did Clinique discontinue Repairwear Day cream? Their other SPF products all have sunscreen scents. I have to find a different intensive day moisturizing face cream and add a scent-free sunscreen. I hope they add an intensive day cream back into the Repairwear line. 12/15/12

It Works! This product works great for extreme dry skin. It was a little heavy for me to use on my entire face. However, I did have a problem area on my nose that it transformed. My nose was the driest place on my face. I use the Youth Surge on my nose and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion for the rest of my face, my skin looks and feels great. If you are comfortable with the weight of Youth Surge, it is a great product and you will not be disappointed. 8/22/11
