Dior 'Backstage Foundation - Full Coverage' Powder Brush
I'm quite shocked to see the previous comments about this brush. I've owned the older version (silver handle) of this brush for appx 4 years and I still use it basically everyday. it was one of the very first make-up brushes I've ever purchased. It is my all time favorite pressed- powder foundation brush and I've had no issues with shedding. I wanted to purchase another one so I went to my local Dior counter and enquired about it. Apparently, the silver handled brush was discontinued and this current brush (wooden handle) is the current version. I've had no issues with the current version either so far. I use it whenever my older brush is dirty and it gives the same effect. I would say it's more of a medium coverage brush which I prefer. The bristles soft and VERY easy to use. It can be used also to buff and blend liquid foundation well. I just adore this brush.
Very disappointing after spending so much money on this brush that it sheds CONSTANTLY, it does apply the product quite well but you spend ages picking off all the hairs which moves the work you just completed, very poor from Dior.
I was a little hesitant to buy this brush because of the price tag. But I needed a nice powder foundation brush for a full coverage. I was shocked to see a lot of hair shedding since it is made by a higher end company. The lady at the counter told me to wash it once to see if the brush sheds less. Nope, still shedding! In the other hand, the handle is definitely well made and luxurious. The packaging is really nice too. But I'm really not impressed with the brush head itself. I'm just going to stick with Mac & Trish brushes.
