ECCO 'Sculptured 65' Lace-Up Bootie
ECCO Sculptured Lace Up Bootie
The ECCO Sculptured Lace Up Bootie was comfortable from day one. I have worn these boots for 5+ hours with no discomfort.
I am a fairly easy to fit 7 Medium and purchased the 38 which is what I typically wear in ECCO. I found these boots to be true to size while wearing thin to medium socks.
I opted for the Warm Grey and think it is a bit lighter than pictured. Keep in mind that the rubber heel looks just as depicted online. I sprayed them with Nordstrom's leather protectant.
Thus far, I am pleased and would recommend these boots to friends.
Runs VERY large
I LOVED this shoe when I saw it on the website, and was so excited to find they made it in my impossibly small shoe size ( I'm a 4 / 4.5). When they arrived, the styling was great, they seemed very well made, and the leather was beautiful; I would have preferred a more tailored lace - a round lace would have carried off much better than the somewhat cheezy flat lace, but not the worst thing in the world. The biggest problem was that they were about 2 sizes too big! Now, I', used to making shoes that are a bit too big for me work out. I have a variety of inserts and such, but nothing worked, and I had to send them back.
What a bummer.
Use european size
Tried this in store. My foot is a 7 1/2, and 37.5 in european size. The fit is actually true if you use the european sizing, the 37 is slightly small, (6-6 1/2) and the 38(7-7 1/2) is big, so if you are a true size seven, go down one size if you are using american sizing. I am going to order the grey in 38, and put in an extra cushion sole to make it even more comfy.
