Frye 'Carson' Ballet Flat
Super Cute!! Normally a 9 - 10 in flats ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfect just a tad snug the first day but broke in perfectly. Def will be ordering other colors. The black go great with everything!
I am a BIG fan of Frye, but debated these shoes because although I feel Frye makes great quality footwear, $150 for flats is a bit steep. I ended up trying them in the store and purchasing the 6.5 in cognac (I normally wear a 7 in Frye), and I LOVE them! As other reviewers stated, they provide very little support, but are very comfortable after the initial break-in period. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!
Your typical ballet flat in that there is not much support - what else do you expect though? Otherwise this shoe is gorgeous from color to leather to comfort. I've never spent more than $80 on a flat, but this shoe was well worth the splurge!
Stitching inside rubs sole of foot
I returned these. Wanted to keep them, but the hard sole has large stitching running around the inside perimeter. Just in the space of taking a few steps too and fro to see how they feel, they were irritating the bottom of my foot. Otherwise they were flexible and nice looking. Pity.
