Frye 'Lucy' Boot
Frye lucy boots
These should be called Frye "lucky" Boots. They are some of the best boots i've owned. I'm a true boot lover have at least a dozen pair of boots. This pr is very comfortable and look really good.
Another classic from Frye
Love the heel. Love the ruggedness! These are so adorable the Fall with wool shorts and skirts. I wore them the other day with wool leg warmers for a super cute autumn look. They definitely fit TTS with room for socks.
I ordered online, without having tried this style on. At first, the right one was a little snug over the top of my foot, but that didn't last. For as high a heel as this boot has, it is amazingly comfortable. The key is (1) that it's a well-made boot, and (2) the heel is stout enough to provide stability. The upshot is that I am very happy with my purchase, and am wearing the boots a lot. Normally, I wouldn't have spent this much on a pair of shoes, but I thought I'd give it a shot, since they were Fryes. So glad I did!
I actually have this boots in 2 colors -black and the dark brown. I order the SZ 7, it feel a tag big for me but with the 3 inch heel, I slip in a pair of thick inserts and regular socks-now it fit me just right and soooo comfy. Never expect myself to storm around in these boots shopping for 5 hours straight with no pain and great arch support. Wish that Frye will make a knee high Lucy style boot--luvvvv the lugged rubber sole and the 3 inch heel makes it looks trendier. I do have one complaint here- this boots is not made in the US or Mexico, the quality of the leather is not that great, smell bad -- very different from all my other 10 pairs of Frye boots that are all made in US /Mexico.
