best powder compact or loose I really love this powder. No matter how many times I touch up, it doesn't feel like it cakes on; it just diminishes the shine and makes it matte without looking overly powdered. And I love the light fragrance. Plus the case itself is beautiful and eye-catching. 2/1/13

Beautiful I use this as a finishing powder and i also have 1 in my makeup bag in my purse that i use for touch ups .i have red apots around my nose and this powder help me cover it . it very light and looks and feel good on my skin .and the packaging is so beautiful and i had people asking me about it :) 12/17/12

Excellent I've never been able to use face powder. I love the look of powder, and even though my skin is somewhat dry (oily in the T zone) every powder makes my face break out. I read all the reviews of this product and took the plunge. It is excellent - I use it either with the little puff it comes with or with a powder brush and swirled into my skin. The result is just what I wanted, a very natural but polished finish on my skin, and no breakouts. I don't even wear foundation with this product (I have pretty good skin). Amazing. 11/9/12

Nice everyday powder This particular powder by Guerlain makes a very nice everyday powder, adding that "something extra" over your makeup. However, just as with the Guerlain Meteorites colored powders, I find that I like it better as a final finishing powder after using a setting powder first. With the Illuminating and Mattifying powder, it wants to turn orange on me if I don't use the setting powder first. However, over the setting powder it gives me a healthy glow with just a little bit of luminescence. I use a big powder brush at home and a small kabuki brush at work for touch up rather than the powder puff that comes with it. I use a very light touch; it doesn't take much. The case is lovely and the faint fragrance fades very quickly. I'm highly allergic to fragrance and this doesn't bother me at all. I'm happy with the purchase and like having this face powder in addition to my Guerlain Voyager pearls compact. 11/5/12
