Why is it so difficult to close? Althoguh the packaging is pretty, I had to ask my husband to close it twice. It is so difficult to close which may cause it to dry out. Looks great on but for half the cost you can purchase the eyes to kill armani mascara that stays all day, seperates, curls, and looks amazing. Don't purchase this unless you want a heavy, hard to close, normal mascara. 3/4/13

Great Mascara, Worth the Money I just purchased this mascara. At first I was not too sure on buying it since I have been wearing the Lancôme mascara for years, but I decided to buy it. I am glad that I did. This is a great mascara, I love the formula and it wont give me the raccoon eyes that other mascaras leave. It is long lasting and extends my lashed even more, making it look full, dark and beautiful. It also wont leave me the clumpy eyelash look that I hate. It is pricey, but it is worth the money. I love the case with the mirror, it is elegant, I don't mind it being in a heavy case since I apply it in the morning and it stays on all day till I am ready to go to bed. You do need a eye makeup remover to take it off. I would recommend to friends. Wish I would of discovered it earlier. 12/21/12

VaVaVoom Lashes Love Love this Mascara the package is stunning but heavy the texture and color is are great . well worth the price!! is gives you the VaVaVoom Lashes buts it not waterproof . 12/3/12

Adds length; natural look; good brush; no clumping I have short, thin, somewhat sparse lashes and that's why mascaras are a challenge for me. My all-around favorite is probably MakeUp Forever's Aqua Lash, as it provides volume and length and is waterproof, but my lashes tend to clump with it. I also love Too Faced's Better Than False Lashes, but the fibers tend to clump up my lashes by the end of the day. Guerlain's Noir G is a nice alternative to both of those mascaras; it glides on smoothly, separates and lengthens my lashes and adds shine (!). It provides a look that I would describe as a beautiful, natural looking lash. It doesn't thicken my lashes to the effect I'd like, but I'm beginning to think nothing will without the clumping. I haven't been using long it enough to determine if it's helping my lashes grow longer or thicker. As for those reviewers concerned that it's not water proof, I've had no problems with it smudging during the day, but if that is a concern you can use Anastasia's Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat, I use that on all my non-waterproof mascaras and it works great. And for those reviewers concerned about the price, I simply use the refill of the Noir G, it works fine on it's own and that also helps with concerns about the heavy case. 11/11/12
