Hermosa by Christina E. Long Velour Robe
All a robe should be
I found an incredible robe at Nordstroms that fit the bill to a "T"
First of all, it is made in the USA, which is my focus these days. This robe is the exact robe, just in another color. I LOVE IT!!
The lightweight velour is perfect and the design works for me. The sleeves have a ribbed knit cuff and the belt is built-in, so it doesn't get all tangled up after washing.
The side pockets are at the perfect length...I don't like robes with the big square pockets in the front.
In order to prevent shrinking and to keep the color vibrant, I hang dry the robes after washing.
I can honestly say these are my favorite robes.
Love my new robe!
I had been searching for a longer robe, and I purchased this one after I saw that it has tight cuffs at the wrists. I hate trying to do dishes or eat breakfast with those big bulky sleeves / cuffs that are standard on terry robes. This robe is much more practical, due to the sleeves but also due to the fabric. It is warm but not as bulky as a comparable terry robe. Two things to note: the pockets are on the side hems, not boxy pockets on the front panels of the robe AND there is no internal tie to keep the robe closed - just the big external tie. Neither of these things are a problem for me, but I thought I would mention them in case they matter to you! Happy shopping :)
very pleased with that robe and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for comfortable piece in great rich dark color
I am 5, 4 and I weigh 128 pounds, the small is perfect, right length. Flattering silver grey, feels warm but looks slinky and slimming. I had been looking for a robe that does not make me look like a sausage and i finally found it.
