Best makeup ever! Jane Iredale foundation was recommended to me by my dermatologist a couple years ago. (It's the only makeup they recommend.) This foundation is amazing! I have fair skin that's sensitive and also have dermatitis. This calms my skin, does not make me break out, is so light it doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup, and is very natural looking. After applying, I set the mineral foundation with the D2O spray (helps it stay in place all day). I wear the color Satin. I wish Nordstrom sold this in stores so it would be easier to find the perfect shade. (Wine & Roses Spa in Lodi and Total Beauty in Sacramento carry this line so I was able to try a few colors before finding the right match for my skin tone.) 2/19/13

My one and only foundation Try it and you'll love it. Good coverage while feeling light. I only add some under eye concealer, blush and my skin is ready to go. 2/10/13

Great coverage but still light! I am of Greek heritage- meaning olive skin and dark under eyes. This works great to give me a primed and even canvas to begin with. I don't even need under eye concealer now- just a swipe with this and it evens out my tones nicely :) 1/14/13

The BEST Mineral Makeup Around Jane Iredaie products are the best! I have extremely sensitive (& aging) skin. I tried other brands of mineral foundations and had allergic reactions to them. I tried this line based on a recommendation from my aesthetician. She was right! This pressed powder is the only product I've been able to use that I don't have a "reaction" to. I find it easy to apply. I use Jane Iredale's Absence as a base--apply it lightly first--if you can see it on your skin, you put on too much! Then I use the Kabuki brush to pick up foundation from the pressed powder compact, knock off any excess powder from the brush and lightly apply it all over my face. I was afraid when I first went from liquid foundation to this mineral pressed powder that it would not give me enough coverage or would not last all day---but it does! It feels light on my skin, never irritating, and provides excellent coverage without looking thick, heavy, or cakey. It may seem to be a little pricey, but it lasts a long time, doesn't take much to give you perfect cover, and ends up being an excellent value--much more economical than my old brand liquid foundation. It's great at evening out my skin tone--I alternate, depending on the time of year, between two colors: Warm Silk and Warm Sienna--both work well on my fair with red/pink-undertone skin that is sensitive/oily with dry areas. Try it, you'll love it! I wouldn't use anything else! By the way, Jane's brushes are top-notch--they don't irritate my skin and are well-made. Highly recommend using them with her products. 12/18/12
