Jimmy Choo 'Bello' Glitter Wedge
A Perfect Wedding Shoe
I am getting married on a wooden dock overlooking the Caribbean, which means that I need an elegant shoe but it has to have a heel that will not get stuck in between the slats. This actually became quite the shoe challenge; so many wedges are too massive and unrefined (for a wedding dress). This fit my needs and looks amazing with my dress; however, it runs slightly large. I am a 7 ½, EU 38 and I exchanged it for a 7, 37.5.
Gorgeous sculptural wedge!
These shoes are gorgeous. The wedge is sculptural and reflects the light in a way that makes a really lovely profile. Unfortunately, the heel is too high for me to be able to wear comfortably, but if you don't have a problem with that, then buy these shoes.
Beautiful shoe - BUT Fell Apart!
I bought these to wear on my rehearsal dinner. I wore them that evening and they started to come apart. SO DISAPPOINTED and sad that such a beautiful shoe that is this expensive would fall apart. What the issue is that the gold inlaid in between the silver is really netting like. And, when you wear them and your feet hit together on the inside or just at all on anything, the netting starts to rub off and come out. Almost like you can pull it out. the sides of my shoes on the bottom look terrible - like they've been worn for 5 years. Not what I expect from Jimmy Choo at all. VERY UPSET. In addition, the sizing on this shoe is terribly off. I had to order 5 sizes in order and go to the store to find one that fit. the size 40 I originally bought did not fit but I ended up with a 40 that did at the end. Very strange.
Love these Jimmy Choos!
These wedges are awesome. I am in love with the mirror wedge heel. So, unique and different. They go with everything. I wore them to work and everyone loved them. If you are going to spend this kind of money on shoes, they better be awesome. I feel prettier and more glamorous when I wear them. Plus, they are actually kind of comfortable after you break them in. I initially thought the toe-box area was too narrow, but by the end of the day, they were fine.
