Josef Seibel 'Grazia 01' Sandal
I ordered two styles of Joseph Seibel shoes and this is the keeper. The Debra 02 had a thicker sole and the strapes felt clunky, more shiny leather. This Grazia 01 has perfect fit, support, function, and it's very pretty. It fits smoothly over the foot, no rubbing or tightness on any toes. The multiple velcro strapes insure a nice fit although I doubt these will stretch. I purchased in the blue and it is a muted navy, even cute with flashy socks, perfect with all jeans, khakis, skirts. The sole is cushy and flexible, protective for a longer walk, but not thick and clunky. This is really a pretty walking sandal. I looked at other colors in our local store. The red is excellent, brown rich like honey, lighter shades very neutral. The blue is a little darker than shown on the internet, a touch less "denim" and actually richer.
Josef Seibel Grazia 01 Sandal
Sandal was true to size but color "marone" as depicted online turned out to be a boring brown color with no red tones. I would suggest a new picture of the shoe in that color as it was very disappointing to have to return what was otherwise a very nice sandal. I would not recommend the sandal in this color.
I own this shoe in 3 colors. I do alot of walking and these feel like butter on my feet!!
The Search Continues
At first these shoes felt wonderful. The adjustable fit is great and they hide my bunions very well. For comfort shoes they're not all that bad looking, although designers stlll have a LONG way to go before we get style and comfort in the same shoe. Hints: supple leather, good support, bunion coverage, a little but not too much height, and STYLE, as in FASHION. Anyway, I had high hopes for these shoes. I was sorry to admit that in the end my hopes were unmet. The front strap rubbed and irritated the tops of my toes to the point that when I took them off my toes were red and hurt for a long time afterward. They are a bit on the flat side for me. I would prefer a little more lift for walking and height. The soles felt slippery sometimes. Others apparently had more luck than I did but for me, sigh, the search continues. Thanks to Nordstrom for unfailing and graceful service. My favorite US store.
