Juicy Couture 'Viva la Juicy - La Fleur' Eau de Toilette
I really love this fragrance. It's very sweet and girly, and it definitely has the original Viva La Juicy vibe to it. This fragrance really captures the description it's given of being "the dreamy, ethereal feeling of love's first embrace." It's very young, fresh, and innocent. It suits the whole "young love blossoming" theme. I'm 21 and I think this is my favorite of all of the Juicy Couture fragrances. I can see a lot of people wearing this while they're in their dating phase, engagement phase, or first few years of marriage phase.
As far as lasting power goes, I'd say it lasts quite a long time. I spray it in my hair before bed and I can still smell it when I wake up. On the skin, it only lasts a few hours, but it'll last throughout the entire day if you spray it on your clothes. I use 4-5 sprays and I'm set for the entire day.
My ONLY complaint is the bow on this. I prefer the original Viva La Juicy's satin bow over the sheer tulle bow La Fleur has. But I guess I understand. Viva La Juicy is a heavier fragrance and I guess changing the bow fabric to tulle can symbolize a lighter, sheer (spring season) fragrance. I see tulle used the most in bouquets, hence why I said it's a spring fragrance. But I doubt anyone really notices the little details or analyzes them the way I do :)
I'm a big fan of the regular, Viva La Juicy, so naturally I had to try this. I love the smell and the fact that it's not a heavy smelling perfume. It's subtle and I've received a lot of compliments when wearing it. Definitely one of my new favorites!
If only it lasted....
I LOVE this fragrance, but alas, it completely fades in a matter of minutes. It's just not worth the cost. I tried applying it a bit more heavily, but that didn't help. Honestly, one would have to carry it with them and reapply it every hour in order to enjoy it, and nobody wants to that much work (or at least I don't).
I'll stick with my Viva La Juicy and Versace Yellow Diamond.
