Very cute, but stitching hurts
These were really cute shoes, but the stitching on the back, and especially the front of the shoes, poked into my toes and heels. This is not something that will break in and was painful as soon as I put on the shoes. Without the stitching, these would have been perfect. They do run a little big.
Jury's still out
I'm not completely sure if I will keep these or not. After wearing them a bit I've discovered a couple of pretty uncomfortable flaws and I don't think they will go away once they're broken in. First, the stitching is real--great for looks but the thick patent leather "string" rubs pretty harshly on my heel as well as the top of my foot where the banded piece with the logo attaches to the rest of the shoe. The second issue I have is the top piece moves a bit were it stitches to the rest of the shoe and can lead to little holes in the shoe. Not a big problem unless you have to walk through rain--then it's very noticeable.
They're really cute and a great casual style, but these other issues definitely detract from the looks for me. If you plan on wearing with socks or hosiery, the problems will probably be much less prominent, but I'm looking for a go to barefoot shoe.
