Le Métier de Beauté's color collection is inspired by the Chauvet cave paintings in France, said to be the oldest in the world. The cave found in Chauvet Pont d'Arc, located in the south of France, is one of the most significant prehistoric art sites known to mankind, and contains the earliest-known cave paintings on the planet. The hues are rich in pigment, beauty and intensity.
