Not impressed
Although I ordered this in the mail, the color matched very well... But it dried out my skin, and I already have dry skin only making it more apparent. So needless to say, this concealer is not for dry skin! Nor does it cover very well. I have light acne scars and my blush covers them better than this concealer. It would be alright if it gave even a little more coverage.

Medium Coverage.
This concealer is good but it's not great. I only say this because the product seems to be inconsistent between colors. Many people say this product is watery but I got this shade in NC45 and it is quite thick. I've had an NC42 in the past (was my mother's but then she gave it to me) and it was very watery and kind of grainy. I'm not sure if it was watery when it was purchased, or if it became watery over time.
On top of the inconsistency in texture, I'm disappointed in the shade selection that MAC has to offer for concealers. NC42 is way too light and NC45 is way too dark. I fall right in between, but they don't have an in-between color. I feel like if MAC wants to avoid making a shade for every color, they should produce colors in intervals of 2 ex: NC42, NC44, NC46, etc. Not every medium-dark skinned girl falls into NC45, but I feel like that's all we're limited to. Or we can spend twice as much by purchasing two colors and mixing it ourselves, which is what I'm stuck doing. I received a sample of the concealer from the MAC counter in Nordstrom, and I use the sample container to store my custom mixed concealer shade, so thank you for having nice sample pots! It makes it a little more bearable to mix a custom shade every week or two instead of every single time I do my makeup.
I use this product to cover up dark patches of skin as opposed to using it to cover up blemishes. I have melasma around my mouth (dark mouth corners) and acne scars that need covering. This does a decent job at covering up the melasma but it doesn't make it completely disappear. I apply two layers pre-foundation and another layer post-foundation to achieve medium coverage on dark areas. For dark spots, this concealer has medium coverage. I am also the queen of red nose, so I use this concealer to conceal redness. It actually does a very good job at hiding red spots on my skin. It will also cover brown patches such as birthmarks. I use this concealer to hide a cloud-shaped brown birthmark on my chest and it does a good job at hiding it. Lastly, I have tried this concealer under my eyes and it creases, so I'm not too fond of using this as a brightening concealer.
For minor blemishes, this does give good, natural coverage.
Overall, this concealer is a fantastic value. You get a lot of product for a good price. My only complaint is the shade selection. I wish the variety of concealer shades matched the variety of foundation shades. One or two shades difference is okay, but three to five shades of a difference is a bit much for someone who wants to camouflage and conceal.
I recommend this product but I'd highly suggest you get a sample or two before purchasing.

Easy to use
Lightly conceal the imperfections on my face. Very handy when trying to do a light/natural/professional makeup.
Love that it comes in a tube, too, for sanitary reasons.

medium coverage
this concealer is great because it blends smoothly so you don't have to tug at the delicate skin around your eyes. I rated it as a 4, not a 5 because the coverage is semi sheer. 1 great thing- it photographs well. No white-raccoon eyes will show up if you are wearing this makeup in photos. It also goes a very long way and was true to my powder color (I ordered it online and had never used it before.
