Michael Kors Trim Fit 3-in-1 Jacket
a nice looking, clean jacket
I'm a true 5'8" with large shoulders, chest and back, small torso, and ample gluts. The shoulder/chest area of the jacket fits quite well, however it's pretty baggy below the shoulder blades and ever so slightly tight around my butt. It's probably designed for a more straight bodied type like most of the clothes I buy.
The jacket has very clean lines and the thin vest is good looking on it's own. If it wasn't so loose around my back, it would be very nice looking. I'll probably have a tailor try to take it in a little bit.
The jacket is comfortable, with a soft inner texture in the unlined sleeves that's not rough or irritating against the skin. It's not very heavy and I would probably recommend it for no colder than high 50's if you're moving around. The vest helps, but not the warmest jacket you'll own. It's pretty good except for the coldest part of the SF Bay Area year.
Pricey but Perfect Minimalist Fall Jacket
Finding the perfect combination of weight, fabric and features in a Fall jacket is not easy.
Many are too high tech with bulky fabrics and features like "pit-zips" that you will never use.
Others are too sports-specific and seem out of place off the golf course.
This Chinese made jacket/vest combination is minimalist in design, yet quite warm and wind resistant.
The thin zip out quilted vest provides you with another garment that can be used in place of a bulky sweater.
Minor problems: the sleeves are too long; unlike the jacket the vest has no pockets and the retail price is high.
All-in-all a I would recommend this as a versatile Fall jacket.
This Jacket was exactly what I was looking for; it's lightweight but with the zip in vest remains warm. Perfect for layering, not bulky at all. Great addition to my closet. I'm thin, nearly 6'2" the large fits great. Not too long or short, just as the picture shows. At the sale price it's a steal!
