Miss Wu 'Sofie' Lace Yoke Cashmere Sweater (Nordstrom Exclusive)
This sweater is extremely feminine and versatile. It can be worn alone with a shirt or trousers. In addition, it is light-weight and can be easily worn under a jacket/suit for work. I highly recommend this item for work or dressy nightly events.
Beautiful and Comfortable
I purchased this with a miss wu ivory sleeveless blouse which ties around the neck. The tie comes outside of the sweater and then the beautiful ivory silk is exposed under the sheer part of the sweater. I wore this combination with black slacks with the white blouse coming out of the bottom of the sweater. I was very comfortable for work yet it looked very tailored and well put together. I like that the sweater is very thin as it can be worn in spring in and fall when whether can go either way. I will definitely wear this enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.
Okay, but not great
I'm really on the fence about this sweater: the style is very cute, but I just don't think it worth the price. I have no problem dropping a substantial amount of money on a designer piece, but I find this sweater to be way too pricey for the gauge of the cashmere. To be clear, the sweater is extremely thin. It's more of the weight of a blouse. Also, the lace yoke is very delicate. I worry I would catch my jewelry in it an ruin it. Finally, if you are between sizes (I'm between an 8 and 10), you need to order the next size up, or the sweater will be too tight. I'll probably end up returning and waiting to purchase again if it goes on sale and my size is still available. I will say, I'm pleased Nordstrom is starting to carry a wider range of premier designers. I'll try the Miss Wu line again, hopefully with better luck.
