NARS Duo Eyeshadow
I have been a fan of a few products for a while. This shadow in particular is very high pigment. Be sure to tap that brush! I would definitely recomend an eye primer to keep the color from creasing. Nars makes a good one but you can do just as well with a Nyx. This is a great color for anyone with brown eyes.
I have three of these duos and they are all excellent. Overall, I've found that the shadows have a wonderful, smooth texture, long-lasting, don't irritate my sensitive skin, and have minimal - if any - fallout. Not even when I overload my brushes. Though the shadows are soft and smooth, they are well pressed, meaning no excess shadow loss with each brush swipe. I have a medium olive skin tone and light brown eyes.
Alhambra: My most recent purchase and I'm completely in love with this duo. The right side is a light wash of gold; not plain or obnoxious, it's just the right amount of shimmer for the day and can easily be amped up for a night out. I love gold eye shadow but most pull either pink or orange on me, this one is the perfect neutral gold balance. The left side is the most gorgeous highlighting shade; described as "metallic rose mist", but any pink is very minimal. It is amazing in the inner corners, instantly brightening and giving eyes a more alert look. I also like to place this right under my brows and blend down, on top of my brows, down the bridge of my nose, and along my upper cheekbones. My go-to look for Alhambra: right side all over the lid, left in inner corner and brow bone, and a skin tone matte transition shade in the crease.
Isolde: Such a pretty orange-gold duo and perfect for fall. The left side is a bright, orange-based gold and looks amazing with my brown eyes and with my sister's blue eyes. It's definitely a noticible "neutral", but I can get away with it at the office. The right side is a burnt copper, a couple shades darker than the left side. The two colors play nicely together. My go-to look for Isolde: left side all over the lid, right side blended through the crease and smudged over top of brown liner along upper and lower lash lines.
Kalahari: My first Nars duo, love the texture, quality, and left side. Unfortunately this duo didn't do anything for me. The left side is a neutral brown shimmer, though not particularily exciting and it didn't show up well against my skin tone. The right side is a pink/purple taupe and is beautiful. Sadly pink/purple taupes make my eyes look tired. I swatched this against Mac's Satin Taupe, and couldn't tell a difference. My sister is much lighter than me with blue eyes and this duo looks incredible on her.
Overall, Nars eyeshadow duos are an excellent purchase. The duo comes with double the product than a single - 0.14 oz vs 0.07 oz - for only $10 more, and the shadows are good quality. Just know your coloring and realize that not every color duo works for everyone.

Love Nars Duo-it's the perfect eye shadow-stays on all day and the combo is great. Totally worth the money.

I love these Nars duo shadows - particularly in Tokyo and Bellisima. They are neutral enough to wear during the day and can be layered with other at night. Just fabulous and the color stays on for the entire day. Never disappoints.
