Being a fan of NARS products, I was extremely excited for the launch of this product, so as soon as it was available at Nordstrom, I rushed to purchase it! I've used it for about two weeks now, and am very pleased with the tinted moisturizer.

-At first, I was a bit concerned about the shade selection for my NC30/NARS Sheer Glow Punjab/Make Up For Ever HD 120 skintone. After swatching, I knew Finland (the first shade) would be too light, and St. Moritz (third shade) would be too dark. I was hesitant about Alaska since it is classified as a "Light 2" shade, but my normal foundation shade, Nars Punjab, is classified as "Medium 1." However, Alaska has proven to be a great match for my light-medium yellow-toned skintone.

-The coverage and texture have been excellent for a tinted moisturizer. I've tried a number of tinted moisturizers, including Laura Mercier's and Smashbox's. While I loved the convenience and low-maintenance factors of those tinted moisturizers, I wasn't a fan of their sheer coverage or how after a number of hours, the TM would feel slightly gummy and look shiny on my oily skin. With NARS, the coverage has been just as good as what I'd get with their Sheer Glow Foundation (which, to those who aren't familiar with Sheer Glow, isn't really sheer), but the TM looks more natural (doesn't settle into pores or lines) and feels absolutely fantastic, like second skin! Depending on how much you choose, I would classify the coverage as light-medium, and it can certainly be built to medium without looking unnatural.

-The lasting power of this tinted moisturizer has been impressive too. Besides its lightweight and comfortable texture, its staying power on my oily skin has been excellent. After a long workday, the tinted moisturizer is still intact.

-No breakouts on my acne-prone skin after a few weeks of using this.

I am very happy with this tinted moisturizer and am so glad to have switched from using foundation to this product. Sometimes, my skin will feel heavy after using foundation, and it takes more work -- I have to be careful to fully blend in the foundation. WIth this tinted moisturizer, I love how I only have to use one product (rather than a separate sunscreen and primer), and it feels and looks seamless on the skin. I highly recommend this product!

I've been wearing this product for a few weeks, I wanted to make sure I was giving it a fair chance before reviewing. For what it's worth, within the first week I had 3 new blemishes. I stuck it out and continued to use this tinted moisturizer because I think my skin needs an adjustment period with new products. After a few more weeks, I can confirm that this product is not causing continual or chain-reaction breakouts for me so I will definitely continue to use it. It is slightly silicone-heavy (see ingredient list in "Discussions") so if you generally have issues with silicones, this may not be the tinted moisturizer for you.

I am extremely porcelain-pale and always just buy the lightest shade in everything..sometimes it works and sometimes it's too dark. Finland actually blends into my skin very well. When I saw it in person for the first time I was sure it was going to be too yellow and dark. It must be very forgiving. I'm not getting any demarcation lines from my face to my neck, and it looks very natural.
The finish is gorgeous. Slightly dewey and moisturized, not shiny, sparkly or greasy. You can build the coverage if you wish and it still appears natural. Also, my skin type is very dry and alot of foundations will seperate on my face because they are drying me out as the day wears on. This product stays looking smooth and nice until I wash my face at night. This is amazing...if you have truly dry skin you understand.

There is a light lemon scent to this product but it fades quickly and is not unpleasant.

The SPF 30 PA+++ reminds me of the beauty balm craze that is becoming so popular in the US right now. I feel that this Tinted Moisturizer from NARS is an excellent alternative if you are not inclined to get into the traditional (Asian market) beauty balms.

I enjoy this tinted moisturizer for the perfect color match (St. Moritz for Eastern Mediterranean women), the sheer feel of it, its decent coverage, and for providing a radiant glow.

I gave it 4/5 stars simply because I don't believe it's a great moisturizer. I certainly have to moisturize my skin before applying this tinted moisturizer.

I recently tried this and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the appearance, and coverage. The SPF 30 is so important to me, and it is not heavy like one would assume with a factor so high. I am a light to medium skin tone (St. Moritz) person with a high risk of burning and have skin damage. I have freckles, and it evens out my skin tone, with out giving it an unnatural appearance. I also bought and it used it with the "multiples", and fell in love with that too. I used the color Orgasm, and it looked radiant on me. I would consider my skin with out it rather drab and dull. It brought life to it that apparently was missing. I love the fact that I can use it on my eyes, cheeks, and lips. I have two small children and love the simplicity of it, and taking less steps in getting ready. I highly recommend it! I hope this was helpful.
