Nordstrom 'William' Blazer (Little Boys, Big Boys & Husky)
William blazer (Husky)
What a gorgeous suit. My son didn't want a tight suit for his first communion, so I ordered this suit in a Husky. It was perfect. The suit is gorgeous in the regular size as well and would fit a typical little boy.
If you want a bit of extra space all around without the length, or if your child is stocky, order the husky size. Keep in mind that it is wide throughout (shoulders, waist, etc.). Plenty of room to grow. Very generous in size.
This blazer is really handsome on my 14 yr. old son. It looks like a classy, good quality jacket and he loves it. He is in between a size 14 and 16, at the moment. 5'3" and thin. The 14 was definitely too short. The 16 is perfect in length. I'll probably get it taken in on the sides, but it's not necessary- I just want it to fit perfectly, for graduation.
This is my second one..I like the fit however make sure you secure the buttons they will fall off.
No replacement buttons
Nice jacket with good fit, however, we have had it for almost a year and my son lost a button. There are no replacement buttons sewn in on the inside nor did any come with it. I went back to the store and they did not have any either. The salesperson said I was the third person who had come in with this request. We looked at the jackets in the store and none came with extra buttons, nor do the store seamstresses have any on hand. So I am left to switch out all the buttons in order to make it wearable. Not they best solution. If you buy this jacket make sure you reinforce the sewing on all the buttons with a strong thread.
