OluKai 'Koana II' Boot
I have been looking for months for a great simple boot. This boot is comfortable and stylish. It doesn't make my foot look small at a size 7.
Very versatile boot
I ordered these boots not sure how dressy or utilitarian they would look. I was very pleased when they arrived. They fit well (true to size) and they can be dressed up or down. The soles are lined with rubber so you can wear them a lot and not ruin the sole. I recommend this shoe.
I have 8.5 feet that are pretty wide, so usually I have to go up to a 9.0 to get the right amount of width. I ordered the 8.5s and they fit me fine- if anything, I had a little extra length but if I went a size down to an 8.0 I'm sure width would have been an issue.
These are cute boots with ankle-cropped jeans, as another reviewer mentioned, and with skinny, straight, long jeans (mine fit nicely over the ankle of the boot) they take on a more western boot look. I'm a little concerned that the leather soles will be slippery during the Pacific Northwest winter so I'll probably have a cobbler put some rubber strips on, but otherwise I really like them. They're versatile and a practical, refreshing alternative to tucking jeans into knee-high riding boots every day.
Perfect Boot for Fall/Spring
Thought I would try a different brand for boots other than Frye and am glad I did. After reading other reviews about his brand, I decided to order a half size up. I'm happy I did. I usually wear a 7 but got a 7.5. I also have very wide feet and the half size up fit nicely. I am able to wear my super thick socks with them too. They are also soo comfortable. I can walk around the city with them and not complain! The length is short and looks adorable with socks peeking from the top. I've gotten lots of compliments when I wear these! The only thing is that the seam on where the heel and ankle meet rubbed on my ankles the first few times, but now there's no problem. I am definitely ordering again from this company!
