Panache 'Tango II' Underwire Balconette Bra
A full-coverage bra in larger sizes
I was just professionally fitted for a new bra and was surprised I ended up with this one. I wear a 40H (in this brand) and got a better fit than with the usual go-to Elomi Caitlyn. If the Caitlyn isn't giving you a great fit, try this one.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In my size, this is a full-coverage bra, not a balconette. It is also sheer; the one on the model looks like it's lined and that's misleading.
Panache should assign a different name & model number to the larger sizes of this bra so people looking for a full-size, full-coverage-yet-sheer bra might stop and take a look at it. It does come in many larger sizes.
Not what I expected
It's really hard to find bras at all in my size (34J), let alone pretty ones. Most larger sizes look like granny bras - some of us big-breasted girls want to look a little sexy!
This bra is supposed to be a balconette style. From the photo, it looks pretty and gives some nice cleavage. However when I tried it on, it went up a lot higher and seemed to fit more like a full-coverage bra. Not much cleavage to speak of, and it would probably show under a lower-cut top.
The band size also seemed a little more snug than another Panache bra I have in the same size in a different style. I'll probably be returning it.
Itchy & it stabs =-(
This bra initially fit great but within one hour the lace was extremely itchy and the underwires were digging into my underarms and into the center of my chest. Sad because it seems a little lining and a lot for the underwire is the fix.
I am very difficult to fit and needed a bra for a gown with thin straps and a low back. This works beautifully and is very comfortable. Exactly what I needed.
