Paul Green 'Natick' Boot
Paul Green's boots are beautiful. Unfortunately for me, the size 9s were gone, so I ordered a 9.5. They were too roomy. That coupled with a heel higher than I find comfortable forced me to return them. I recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality leather and classic style for a bargain price...and can handle a boot with a heel. Wish I could have used them.
Stylish comfy boots
Paul Green is consistent with sizing. While i'm often a 9.5M, I always take a 9M in this line. These are comfy for my somewhat wide feet (although I'm a B width, I'm starting to get a bunion on one foot, so am sensitive to width). These work with skinny jeans and with bootlegs. Some booties have too wide a shaft and so are obvious under the flare, but these are just right to tuck in skinnies and not be noticeable under boot legs. These are on the casual side because of the stacked heel. i wouldn't wear them with business wear. I will pack these for travel, though, because they're so comfy.
I struck out with Stuart Weitzman boots this year and had to return 2 pairs, although I've had great success in the past. Never been a big fan of Paul Green, but was tempted by the description and reviews of this boot. I ordered the black, but had to return for a 1/2 size larger, no longer available in black. So I ordered the brown and actually prefer the finish. They're quite comfortable with socks and the heel is tall enough to feel comfortable as well as stylish. Black is completely sold out, but I would be happy to purchase them if they become available.
These boots are absolutely beautiful. The leather on the brown boots show as somewhat distressed leather, which is a look I love.
I can wear a medium width even though I am usually more comfortable in a wide width. These feel fine. The more I walk in them the more they seem to fit my feet.
