Pisarro Nights Split Sleeve Sequin Silk Chiffon Dress
Not proportionally cut
Like the other reviews, I found this dress too big up top, and too little at the bottom. I am 5'7", 130 lbs. I ordered a size 6, the hips area was a little too tight, but there's plenty of room up top. Plus I found the shoulders much more exposed than they are in the picture. Unfortunately, I had to return it.
too big and too small
I am 5'2", 125 lbs and am an hour glass figure. I ordered a size 4. The bottom was much more form fitting around my legs and hips than I expected. The top on the other hand was very large and did nothing for my figure. It drooped very low in the back due to the extra room in it. Otherwise the sequin was fun and of good quality.
I ordered this dress in the red and black. The red was more cranberry. It was very pretty and would have been perfect for a pre-Christmas holiday party but I was looking for a dress for a New Year's Eve wedding so I went with the black one. Be aware, the black dress was tighter and a full inch and a half shorter. I'm 5'7" tall and it was a little short. Through no fault of my own I actually ended up with two size 12's of the red and two size 12's of the black and the size differences between the two colors was consistent. The sleeves were great for less than toned arms too.
Okay, I'm unfortunately a little overweight: 5'6"; 160 lbs, but this dress looked absolutely fabulous on me!!! I wore it on New Year's Eve. It's really comfortable. And the price is amazing for all this beautiful beading on 100% silk! I will say that I didn't like how the back fabric draped/drooped/puddled to several inches below the waist line, so I took needle and thread and simply/quickly stitched a line of stitches along a line that follows where my spine would be, and pulled it and knotted it, so that it's ruched across my back rather than draped, and makes the dress more shapely and flattering. It looks much better. Very, very pretty and comfortable dress, that makes you look smaller than you are.
