Ray-Ban Aviator 50mm Sunglasses (Big Boys)
These "Big Boys" are so tiny that they seem crafted for a child's face, but I guess they are so named because this is the size lens that the Air Force pilots wear. I have a pair of these from 1985, and they are so much heavier and more substantial. These are probably more comfortable than mine, but they also seem very flimsy. They do not come with a case to protect them, which they appear to really need; they only come with a flimsy little microfiber cloth bag which serves the dual purpose of wiping a cloudy lens when needed. I would reconsider recommending them if they came with a hard protective case.
Works for me!
I bought this pair of sunglasses for me with some doubt whether it will fit me since I am an adult and this product is for kids. However, the product fits me perfectly! So, if you are an adult with a small face, these sunglasses will be fine. Just to be clear, the length of the temples (when straightened), is about 120mm.
As far as quality goes...well, these are Ray-Bans.
Hot but temples too short
The Ray Bans look great on my 8 year old grandson, but the temples are too short for "big boys". Had to unbend temples at ears to fit properly. Probably better fit for 6 year olds.
