Robin Piccone 'Penelope' Crochet Overlay One Piece Swimsuit
Need more top coverage*
I used the measurements guide to figure out what size I needed to order, and I found that size 10 was right. Usually I am a 6 so yes, I did as everyone else and ordered up two sizes. Everything fit perfect except the top! I wish the bra part was a little bigger considering I have a DD chest. It still looks good though just had to tie the strings a little tighter! My boyfriend loves it so it works : )
Loved it but...
I'm 5' 11" and have a long torso. For that reason this suit didn't work for me. Tried an 8 and 10. Wanted it to work so badly, but it just wasn't long enough. :(
I can't remember the last time I felt comfortable in a swimsuit - perhaps I was 10 years old. I wore this suit recently (ordered up to an 8, the 6 was too snug) in geranium and I've never felt better or received more compliments. the color is bright and fun for summer, and the crochet part really camouflages my stomach.
be careful putting it on like the review says, be careful not to snag the suit!
Well, I am one of about 300 who seemed 'not' to like this suit.
The only positives were the sweetheart neckline, and there is a subtle verticle piping that draws interest.
Perhaps this works for others, but this suit was just completely terrible on my body. I am petite-ish #5'1 and 120lbs, 'A' cup#, however my biggest area of concern is my stomach #just genetics, I have always had a belly#. Although the crochet panelling covers that up, all it does is draw unwanted attention to my spare tire. It was so wildly unflattering I could not have taken it off fast enough.
(I had ordered the size 8#
