Rockin' Baby Reversible Sling
Stylish, Comfortable and Charitable
Rockin' Baby Slings are extremely comfortable for both the baby and the person wearing the sling. It's much easier to grab a sling from the car and head into the store or to the park than it is to set up a stroller. They fold up small so you can carry it in your bag. It's also made with the cutest prints I've seen.
I love that when I purchase a sling from Rockin' Baby, they give a sling to a mother in Haiti. I can pass on my love of wearing my children to another mother.
LOVE my ring sling
I have had 2 Rockin Baby slings with my 3 children. I got the first one as a gift at my baby shower, and got the second sling for my 3rd child because I thought we deserved something new. And I felt good about my purchase, since RB donates a sling to a Haitian mother in need for every sling purchased.
What sets these slings apart from other sling companies is that they are comfortable, useful AND stylish. They are as stunning in person as they are on your screen. Bold, beautiful prints and sturdy soft cotton.
I have many different kinds of baby carriers, but the ring sling is my favorite. You can use them in so many ways:
To carry children, or course-- the newborns and older kids. There is nothing sweeter than having a newborn in the cuddle hold, kissing the top of their head, and gently patting them on their bottom. With older kids, you can do the kangaroo carry, the front carry facing in or out, the hip carry, or the back carry.
I use my sling for nursing. The long tail is great for covering up if you need extra privacy. It takes a little practice, but once you learn to nurse in the sling, you can nurse ANYWHERE!
I've used it as a diaper changing pad, a blanket, a spit up towel, a pillow, and a wind blocker. My baby likes to gum on the rings.
The sling can be packed up so small- it can fit easily into a diaper bag or purse. Both me (5'8") and my husband (6'2") can wear it comfortably.
I have had SO MANY compliments on my sling. I have been stopped in parking lots, grocery stores, and school hallways by people who want to know where they can get one. I use it almost every day, and I believe a sling should be on every new mother's "Must Have" list. It does take a little practice to get started, but it opens up a world of possibilities once you and your little one find a carry that works for you.
But MOST importantly, my kids being carried in the sling, and I love having them on me. And sometimes, when I'm tired and wearing yoga pants three days in a row-- I just put that sling on and know that at least part of me is looking good :)
