'09/65 Bayside' Moccasin
HideDetails & Care
Inspired by the styles of California in the 1960s, each SeaVees shoe is dedicated to an influential event from that time and place. The ‘Bayside’ is a nod to the San Francisco Examiner’s September 1965 recognition of the birth of the hippie movement in San Francisco’s iconic Haight-Ashbury district, the “hip hangout” for this fledgling group.
Rawhide leather laces weave through the antiqued-nickel eyelets of a free-spirited boot crafted from brushed twill with a hand-stitched moccasin toe. A natural rubber sole provides superior cushion and increased flexibility in a casual shoe as comfortable as any sneaker.
