Sebago 'Docksides®' Boat Shoe
Just like the way the shoe feels, looks. I just love it
Great color and comfortable fit. The shoe was a little roomy but with an extra insole it fits perfectly.
I love the fact that these single sole boat shoes have a bit more of a substantial feel and more shock absorbency than others. The leather is soft too. I'll be rockin' these all Spring/Summer.
The black/grey color way adds another color combo to my boat shoe collection.
So this is actually my first boat/sail shoe. I have worn many loafers, but never a boat shoe. I am a 9.5 on sports shoes (i.e. NIke), and I usually go down a half size when obtaining a casual or formal footwear. It's a little different for these Sebagos. They still run a little big with the size 9, and also a little wide. Maybe these are how boat shoes are supposed to be, easily removable when needed (i.e. on a boat). Also, going no socks may not be as comfortable since it has 2 textures on the soles. I feel the uncomfortability on the sole of my foot just before the big toe. So I placed an insole, that I bought from Aldo, in the Docksides. What a difference that made.
I still recommend the shoe, despite my little rants about it. Just recommend getting an insole (or maybe no-show socks), which also helps with the fit (i.e. width, too big), if you're going sock less.
Also, the white wash blue do not look like the picture. They're darker, more like a midnight blue, almost black or gray.
