Love foundation, HATE bottle I LOVE this foundation, but HATE the bottle. I have had trouble getting the foundation out of the pump. This started happening just a week after I received it. 1/15/13

Finally!!! I purchased this in the shade F2 and it matches my skin perfectly. I have tried probably 95% of all the "oil free" and "non- comedogenic" foundations available...high end and drug store brands. This is the ONLY one i have found that does not make my skin look worse after I take it off. Smashbox claims this is "good for the skin", and after using it for a week straight I think I might actually agree! I really hope they never reformulate this! Bottom line- I have experienced no breakouts, no sensitivity in the form of redness or small red bumps (happens to me with most foundations) and my skin seems happier and actually more balanced as far as less oily and more "comfortable." It looks great on too :) i do have to touch it up if I wear it for over 5 hours but that is the least of my concerns when it comes to foundation. 4/15/12

works beautifully!!!! I have been trying to take really good care of my skin & body - glowing from the inside concept... but approaching mid 40s and even with the best skin care, there are still little imperfections. I have tried so many other makeups- trying to find the right balance and this one really is by far the MOST flattering of all. I still look natural, never cakey, never fake-- just fabulously glowing and my skin looks "airbrushed" in person. This formulation is really amazing how it is able to stay looking so natural yet balances so much. One thing i did find...I have fair skin and I fall between the lightest & the second lightest formulas. I did find that if i tried to go a tad lighter than my own skin to the lightest formula, the makeup then looked a little chalky so i will either buy both and mix or opt for the one that is just ever so slightly darker-- which still looks great. also---I have sensitive skin and havent had any problems with this at all :) 3/22/12

Best foundation I've tried at least a dozen different foundations over the years. For the past several years, I've been using a Laura Mercier oil free foundation, and it matched my skin color like no other foundation ever had. It stayed on pretty well, and I use the Smashbox primer under it and a dusting of translucent powder over it. BUT...then I decided I wanted to try an HD foundation for a change. I called the Beauty Chat line, and was helped by a very knowledgeable consultant who suggested the Fair 1 from Smashbox. It arrived quickly, and at first, I thought the color would be wrong as it looked dark and orangey in the container. Then I tried it...BEST foundation I've ever used! Perfect color and coverage. Stays put all day. I never look greasy, and it never settles into my fine lines over time. I am hooked! I've been using a wedge sponge to apply it, and it works well. On a side note, I checked the ingredients on the EWG site (it rates all kinds of products for ingredient safety) and the Smashbox was rated significantly better than the Laura Mercier. 3/7/12
