Steve Madden 'Thundr-C' Boot
Cute but not for everyone
Like most Steve Madden shoes these tend to run a bit narrow. The leather is very thin and stiff and probably won't hold up very long. I also find that the length is a little bit long for this boot, but way too tight if I go a half size down.
It is also worth noting that while these are similar to the Troopa boot (in style/fit) there is no zipper on the side, so us ladies with a high instep have a harder time getting this on/off.
This boot is darling and perfect for spring, the fit is just a little weird for me. I'm not sure if I'm going to get as much use as I'd like to out of them.
I usually wear a size 8 in shoes and these fit perfectly. They were comfortable to walk around in and had no problem breaking them in. I absolutely LOVE the design...very unique and perfect for spring. They pair well with leggings, jeans and dresses. I know that I will get a lot out of these shoes! Definitely worth the purchase!
charming vintage style
I saw this boot in the store and tried it on as a whimsical idea thinking I wouldn't like it. It was so comfortable and sweet looking that I immediately bought it even though I rarely pay full price for something. The price seems quite reasonable for how well they are made (in mexico).
My 18 year old daughter fell in love with these. She can't wait to wear them with skirts and cropped jeans to show them off. She has a wide toe bed, but her regular size of 8.5 is fine for her. Considering all of the comments that the shoe runs big, but narrow at the toe it balanced out. Very soft beautiful leather and a bit concerned about the wet Oregon weather spotting them. Will probably put spray on them to be safe.
