Great straightner! This was a great straightner but I couldn't get it to curl my hair. Maybe that was my problem and not the flat iron's fault. I used it to straighten only and it worked great! Crazy fast heating time. I haven't used many flat irons so I can't compare it to others but it did a great job. I liked it but I didnt think it was worth the price so I had to return it. Also, for what you pay they should at least give you a bettter iron pad because the one that comes with it is a joke! I would recommend for straightening if you can shell out the money. 4/11/13

worth every dollar! I loved my GHD, but after 2 years it wasn't performing-heating up as it used to. After reading reviews and researching I'm glad I purchased the Seductress! You only have to use it once and your hair is straight and silky! Love it! 12/8/12

I've used the other brands (T3 and some cheap brands, too). I was hesitant at the price, but I was killing my hair with heating tools and was hoping this would help minimize damage. First, it heats up FAST. Don't walk away while it's heating up because it's ready to go in a few seconds. The plates are flexible as described, meaning that they give a little when pressure is applied. They are also curved/rounded at the edges which is what helps create curls. I use it with heat spray and am happy with the shiny results that last. This iron is also very very light. 9/29/12

AMAZING!!! I have black/thick/long hair and tried lots of brands including solia, sedu and T3, etc. After using this iron 5 times, I would say this is the best straightener I ever used! It not only straightens my hair with one passing, but also makes my hair super soft, silky and shiny. The best part about the Sultra is that it doesn't dry my hair out but actually makes it look and feel healthier! NO MORE SPLIT ENDS! The other irons give your hair split ends after a few uses.
