T Tahari 'Maren' Jacket (Petite)
Jacket was cute but it did not match the Tahari Hazel straight leg pants in navy. For some reason, the navys were different. The jacket did match the Melvina pencil skirt.
I've been shopping around for a navy blue suit for some time, although I perceive navy blue to be classic and traditional- this has not been an easy task- then finally I came across this one. It was everything I wanted in a classic suit- the weight of the suit is perfect (I can where this 6 to 7 months out of the year). It fits like a tailor made suit but I don't have to alter. Love it - it might run a little small for some because it was a jam up fit for me.
I'm 5'3 and went with 4p
Great jacket for the price
I needed to buy a new suit and found this jacket and the T Tahari "Melvina" skirt in the petites section. I tried on the navy and the gray and ended up buying them both. A jacket and skirt for less than $200 before tax is a STEAL, and the suit actually looks really nice!
I'm 5'4" 125lbs, have more of a boyish figure, and the 6P fit me perfectly. This is one of the very rare times I can buy suiting and not need anything altered. I tried on the 4P and 6P, and there really isn't a huge difference in the shoulders or sleeves. I'm normally a 4P in jackets, but I went with the bigger size since it was a bit tight in the bust when buttoned. I also like the little stitching detail on the collar- it's a subtle way to jazz up the standard suit. I would definitely recommend.
Exactly what I was looking for!
Bought this in store today - it's a perfect fit! I had originally been wandering around Point of View in-store. The styles I picked from there were cheaper, but fit more loosely in the waist and sleeves and were a little too casual for conservative interviews. My sales associate, Sheila, directed me to the Petite Focus section and picked this out for me. I also tried on one other blazer, but the material of this one is much better and the fit is exactly what I was looking for. Dare I say...it looks better on me than on the model!
I am 5'1" 105lb 34-26-35 and got the 0P. Thank you, Sheila, for finding me the perfect blazer. I thought I'd have to spring for tailoring on a mediocre blazer.
