Topshop 'Cross' Knit Dress
runs super small
I ordered this in a size 6 and a size 8, as i know Top Shop runs small. I am typically a US size 4. The size 8 arrived first and I didn't even try it on, it just looked so teeny with no stretch, enough that my 11 year old was eyeing it up.
I got the dress because Nordstrom sold out of the tunic one. I figured it would fit about the same as the other topshop dresses. The length of the dress is about the same as the tunic (bear in mind...I'm 5'1") and the sleeves were unusually baggy. In fact, the dress itself didn't hug my body nearly as much as other Topshop dress. Still, it's a fantastic dress that doesn't look silly during the day.
Tried on the size 8 & really great fit - 5'5" and 125lbs (usually a US size 2/4 and Topshop size 6/8). This is a snug fit and recommend 1-2 sizes larger than your typical US size; warning = if you only try one size up from your US size then if may be skin tight. Mini length (on me) but not micro mini - dress could be worn during the day without looking silly.
Cute but shows everything!!!
Very cute! My first Topshop dress, I ordered a 6 and it fits snug! I'm 5'4 and about 125 lbs on a good day! A word of warning this a skin tight dress, even if you have small tummy it will show your every curve! I will be buying a tummy smoother band to help. Other then that beautiful print (my favorite print dress out of all of my other dresses) and fabric is extremely well made and looks very durable! I agree with pervious reviewers the fake leather trim on the neck trim is weird, but not enough to stop me from loving this dress!!!
