Tory Burch 'Abena Mid' Sandal
I love these shoes! I was surprised by the other reviews since I found the shoes to be quite comfortable after wearing them once to break them in. I have not had any issues with quality, fit or comfort and I have been wearing these several times a week for over a month. I ordered the black and am hoping they will last a long time - they are too expensive not to!
I just loved these shoes when I saw them on the website. I had been looking for a nude colored sandal that could be dressed up or down. I also was looking for a wedge so this sandal seemed to fit the bill completely. However, when the arrived, they were so uncomfortable. I wore them in the house for a few hours and I just could not seem to get used to them. The buckle was awkward and there was no elastic or give on the strap. For the price, I just could not justify keeping them. As much as I love they way they look, I decided to return them.
Tory shoes-bad quality
I agree with the first reviewer of this shoe. It's gorgeous. However, I have been disappointed with Tory's quality and not just their shoes, especially for this price. I think, with most of her products, you are paying for the little TT symbol. yes, it's cute but not worth the price! I really hope this designer steps up the quality, or I'm looking elsewhere.
Not sure if I am keeping these
I've been looking for nude color wedges and this pair fit the bill. This is my first Tory Burch shoe purchase and I am quite disappointed with the quality. The inner side where two patches of patent leather meet is falling apart due to poor glue job. Also, the strap does not have a small elastic band attached to it, which most shoes with straps have. Therefore the ankle strap has no "give" and pulls on the ankle when I walk (rather painful). Otherwise, the color is beautiful and the heel height is perfect. Not sure if they are worth $300 for the quality....
