Tory Burch 'Karissa' Espadrille
Supercute but not too comfortable
I have been eyeing these shoes for 3 weeks and I finally took the bait despite reading all the negative comments. I can see that the leather strap do rub off on your ankle and will result in blisters but you can loosen the strap so it will not rub off your skin. The downside is you can "hear" yourself walk as your foot comes off the base of the shoe in every step but that didn't bother me as much. I do have a wide feet so order a size up on Tory shoes. But overall so cute and well made.
I thought these were so cute in the store. I walked around on the floor and carpet for a while to make sure they were comfortable. It seemed like they were. The next day, I wore to work. Within 2 hours - these shoes were so painful!! I finally changed after 3 hours of pain. They left a blister on my ankle and my feet were killing me.
Tory Burch shoes have never been a good fit for me unfortunately. They are always so cute, but I don't think I'll continue to try. I have a very narrow and flat foot....and other brands are just so much better for me.
So cute, not too comfortable!
I bought these from Nordstrom in early spring and love them. They are not quite a walking shoe. I do get blisters on the same toe on each foot every time I wear them while shopping and walking around. So I just wear a bandaid on those toes and am fine. If they weren't so cute, it wouldn't be worth it, but they are. I wear them with shorts, dresses and jeans. They are very versatile. They are a bit narrow, but I have a narrow foot, so they fit me perfect.
I was so disappointed. I love the look of the shoes, the wedge was just what I wanted but after wearing them for a total of 1 1/2 hrs had to take them off since I had blisters on the heel and toes. I now know I will check to see if there are any reviews before I buy with this type of strap. Was very sad when I returned them.
